Own the Break
As we all know, Kit Kat set out to own the ‘break‘. In today’s relentless world of work, people don’t take conventional breaks. Instead, they turn to social media, popular websites and their phones throughout the day. To own the break we came up with the ‘Kit Kat 5ive Minute Fillers’.

The overall concept was that Kit Kat would provide an App and microsite, sharing various things you could do in five minutes. Not only could the audience engage with the preloaded content, but they could create and share their own. With this in mind, I set out to create a simple, modern design with a unique retro twist.
